Valentines Day and Other Misc. Pictures

Okay so I know Valentines day was already a week ago, but I am finally getting around to posting about ours. It was on a Sunday, but since it was icy out, we couldn't make it to church :( so we have to stay home. So we had brunch and for dinner we had fondue for the first time! It was amazing!

 Day before prep

She made her first cake from scratch
Fondue! Its what's for dinner
Veggies, and bread dipped in cheese and meat cooked in broth
I had never had this before but it was awesome! Its a fun way to eat!
And then dessert......!
Marshmallows, bananas, and cake dipped in chocolate! Delicious!
When I find pictures like this, I just have to post them!
And then also I wanted to post some pictures I took last night out in the woods.
This picture is upside down but I thought it looked better this way then the right side up. That's just me.

Can't you tell I like being out here?
Its beautiful out there

I touched the moon!

Memories From March

Hello all! We're back again! Man, what a busy month! Several birthdays, fun events, farm life, and everyday happenings! Shall we begin? This month literally started out with Norah turning 11! Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. Loading more pigs up  Isaiah still doesn't know what to think of the sheep Izzy and Mr. Grumpy Gills  Katherine started riding a two-wheeler bike, with a little help from the training wheels! She could totally be a model!  Chick season has come around the corner...again! This will always be a favorite!  They make for good pets...when they're little anyway!  When you don't have a tractor and you need to seed the fields...  ...and chop broom grass down When Mom's not putting the food in your mouth fast enough  Meet the new bull calf, Demitri! ...

Izzy's 12 Year Old Pictures

Now that Isabelle has been 12 for a month now, I finally got around to getting her pictures done! This post will be short and sweet and a big long one will be coming soon (hopefully)!

JULY

Hello everyone!!  Hope you all had a great July!! :) Ours included a 4th of July celebration, a brand new litter of 10 pigs, stocking up on hay for the winter months, a gun safety course we three older ones went through, a chicken butchering day, topped off with Ava Park fun with friends, a trip to Silver Dollar City, and creek fun!  Shall we begin? Our enthusiastic grill major for the 4th of July. I’m not sure about her, but the food was a 5+ rating! Can’t get more patriotic than this picture *wink* Whenever friends stop by for a visit and bring a cake,  there will be no complaints here!….Until everyone gets a sugar high. In honor of the 4th, I’ll share one of my favorite quotes: “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. Thank them both today.” Ended the night with a bang, like (I’m assuming) everyone else did! And the very next day,… 10 of ‘em born on the 5th....
