~August Playback~

I never realize all the things we do or what happens in one month until I am done with these blog posts. We always do more than I think we do ;)

 Good place for pictures
 Handsome little guy
Little Kate playing in the fountains
 3 little kids
Selfies in front of one of the roller coaster. Only you can't see the beautiful view in the background :(

 We take photos everywhere!

Havi turned 6!

Anna had more fun with Havi's gifts than Havi did

 The little farmers

Mom got reminded about why she never wanted any dogs in Arvada. Our dog, Churchill got hit by a car and needed surgery. Poor guy. He has recovered pretty well since then.

So laid back when at home

Anna crocheted this pillow set for David and Kelsey's up coming wedding. She did a great job!

David and Kelsey's wedding cake! Absolutely gorgeous! ( delicious too )
The wedding reception was at the Zink home
 Bride and Groom dance

 Lovey backyard set up
 Ashley and Hannah

 Cutting the cake

Cake time! So pretty in here!
Right before the Bride and Groom left they sent off some floating lanterns!
The sparklers where pretty cool too!

Rainbow over the house and barn
Pretty much the last of the garden produce

Had to get a picture of the sunflowers before they started to fade
Our last batch of chickens arrived! Once they are processed next month, we will be done with meat birds for the year! Yay!
I love this picture. Ashley wouldn't let me post it on Instagram, but she can't stop me from posting it here! Haha!

Little Kate and Anna. Not sure what she was doing there in the background.

A little blurry but no less cute!

Random pilot pen doodles because its fun

When Mom goes shopping at the store........

And that is about it for now!

The next 2 blog posts for the next 2 upcoming months will probably be more exciting as Anna and I will be making a trip to Colorado in 3 weeks, and next month Anna is off to Israel for 2 weeks with our grandma! Can't wait to share about that!

Memories From March

Hello all! We're back again! Man, what a busy month! Several birthdays, fun events, farm life, and everyday happenings! Shall we begin? This month literally started out with Norah turning 11! Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. Loading more pigs up  Isaiah still doesn't know what to think of the sheep Izzy and Mr. Grumpy Gills  Katherine started riding a two-wheeler bike, with a little help from the training wheels! She could totally be a model!  Chick season has come around the corner...again! This will always be a favorite!  They make for good pets...when they're little anyway!  When you don't have a tractor and you need to seed the fields...  ...and chop broom grass down When Mom's not putting the food in your mouth fast enough  Meet the new bull calf, Demitri! ...

JULY

Hello everyone!!  Hope you all had a great July!! :) Ours included a 4th of July celebration, a brand new litter of 10 pigs, stocking up on hay for the winter months, a gun safety course we three older ones went through, a chicken butchering day, topped off with Ava Park fun with friends, a trip to Silver Dollar City, and creek fun!  Shall we begin? Our enthusiastic grill major for the 4th of July. I’m not sure about her, but the food was a 5+ rating! Can’t get more patriotic than this picture *wink* Whenever friends stop by for a visit and bring a cake,  there will be no complaints here!….Until everyone gets a sugar high. In honor of the 4th, I’ll share one of my favorite quotes: “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. Thank them both today.” Ended the night with a bang, like (I’m assuming) everyone else did! And the very next day,… 10 of ‘em born on the 5th....
