A Joyful January

Another month has come and gone and it feels like so much has happened in just a short amount of time! To name a few, we have a new van, a new trailer, we started back up at the farmers' market, my parents finally let me get my drivers license, and Dad started a new job! God has really blessed us.
Now I shall tell you what we have been up to ;)

It was nice to get some weather that reminded me of Colorado! I love snow.
Plus, snow is a great touch to the farm.
 See? The dogs love it!
Snowflakes on Izzy's rabbit. Each individual one is so beautiful.
Dad, Ashley, Norah, and Peyton went to Colorado for a week to visit the Grandparents. I think they enjoyed themselves!
Norah Peyton and Ashley in front of the family farm in Arvada.
Well, snow calls for a snowball fight!
Oh that's a cute picture of Peyton...
Yep, that's so Peyton.

Hanging with my buddy :) Pretty soon I will have an even smaller buddy to hang out with!
 She's growing up so fast!
She is still adorable when she's sleeping. Love these!
Anna took a picture of a puddle and managed to make it look like a tornado by rotating it upside down. She is trying everything.
Anna gets the photo credit for this picture too. Ice and sun are a pretty mix.
 Oh, speaking of Anna...
One of the best parts of January! We have a van again!
 A cooler photo of it.
Then the next week we added a trailer.
Then it was back to market!
Playing on the frozen spring. She fell into the splits! Haha!
 Helping Izzy do a handstand.
 She's into it.
At least she has a good attitude about doing chores in the cold!
These guys are cute together. And yes, Norah is wearing shorts in January.
 I couldn't pick between this......
......or this. Here is something to put a smile on your face today!
I got some canvases for Christmas and this is the first one that I painted. Art is so much fun!
The Niednagels had a delayed 1940's new years party at the end of January. You can see the theme by looking at these guys!
Anna, Tessa, Ashley, and Rebekkah.
 Visiting...

Singing time! Their house has sure full of people!
They had everyone take a test on the movie theme of the party, It's a Wonderful Life. I probably should have watched the movie to refresh my memory before hand.

 Sweet friends, Autumn and Hannah.

The yummy cake Melissa made. Bad time to try to start eating healthy again.
The most vintage you have ever seen us. I wasn't even planning on dressing up.
Playing games. This is where watching the movie before, would have really come in handy. That's when you just pretend to play while really having no idea what anyone is acting out. Our team won anyway!
And finally dancing time. Some of those people can really dance! They were fun to watch. What a fun party!

That's it for now! See you next time!

Memories From March

Hello all! We're back again! Man, what a busy month! Several birthdays, fun events, farm life, and everyday happenings! Shall we begin? This month literally started out with Norah turning 11! Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. Loading more pigs up  Isaiah still doesn't know what to think of the sheep Izzy and Mr. Grumpy Gills  Katherine started riding a two-wheeler bike, with a little help from the training wheels! She could totally be a model!  Chick season has come around the corner...again! This will always be a favorite!  They make for good pets...when they're little anyway!  When you don't have a tractor and you need to seed the fields...  ...and chop broom grass down When Mom's not putting the food in your mouth fast enough  Meet the new bull calf, Demitri! ...

Izzy's 12 Year Old Pictures

Now that Isabelle has been 12 for a month now, I finally got around to getting her pictures done! This post will be short and sweet and a big long one will be coming soon (hopefully)!

JULY

Hello everyone!!  Hope you all had a great July!! :) Ours included a 4th of July celebration, a brand new litter of 10 pigs, stocking up on hay for the winter months, a gun safety course we three older ones went through, a chicken butchering day, topped off with Ava Park fun with friends, a trip to Silver Dollar City, and creek fun!  Shall we begin? Our enthusiastic grill major for the 4th of July. I’m not sure about her, but the food was a 5+ rating! Can’t get more patriotic than this picture *wink* Whenever friends stop by for a visit and bring a cake,  there will be no complaints here!….Until everyone gets a sugar high. In honor of the 4th, I’ll share one of my favorite quotes: “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. Thank them both today.” Ended the night with a bang, like (I’m assuming) everyone else did! And the very next day,… 10 of ‘em born on the 5th....
