A Majestic March!

This month was filled with three Birthdays, a Silver Dollar City trip, farm happenings, and a lot of fellowship! It all started with Norah's Birthday.......
First for breakfast, sourdough donuts!
For dinner: All you can eat buffet of mac and cheese, (Norah's favorite food) root beer, and cheese cake for desert.🤢 The next day everyone felt sick............
...........and gained a few. :)
Anna did Norah's Birthday pictures this year and they turned out pretty good!! :)

Just a "normal" day!!

And we are off to Silver Dollar City! (Please note who's in the driver's seat)
Look who we ran into! Just kidding, it was planned.
The tea cup competition: Who can spin the fastest and longest? Bring it!
Katherine and Mom (Mom's smiling, but she really hates this ride!)
 Katherine, Mom, Isaiah, and Joe
 Anna and Havi
Random person and Ashley. Time Traveler is the best!

Well, since all of us have Birthdays in March, we wore the Birthday badges and got free stuff!!!
Havi and Isaiah: Yup, we have done this before! :)
Most of the crew! Thank you Langs for having us join y'all!!
Prayer meeting at the Ford's: Here we are celebrating all January, February, and March Birthdays. Trying to get everyone in order, (never succeeded) get all the candles lit, and get everyone in the picture. (Never succeeded)
And it's burning time!! We worked on clearing cedar trees all winter while the ticks were gone (The picture doesn't show the whole pile :)

This is our fireman just in case the fire got out of hand!

Happy 2nd Birthday Buddy!!!
Isaiah's Birthday cake, awesome job, Mom!!!

"Wow."
Two day's later, another Birthday!
This picture describes these people perfectly! :)
Anna was kind enough to take my Birthday photos too. Although I would have rather not gotten them done, Anna really wanted to take them.

Hope you have a wonderful April!!!

Memories From March

Hello all! We're back again! Man, what a busy month! Several birthdays, fun events, farm life, and everyday happenings! Shall we begin? This month literally started out with Norah turning 11! Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. Loading more pigs up  Isaiah still doesn't know what to think of the sheep Izzy and Mr. Grumpy Gills  Katherine started riding a two-wheeler bike, with a little help from the training wheels! She could totally be a model!  Chick season has come around the corner...again! This will always be a favorite!  They make for good pets...when they're little anyway!  When you don't have a tractor and you need to seed the fields...  ...and chop broom grass down When Mom's not putting the food in your mouth fast enough  Meet the new bull calf, Demitri! ...

Izzy's 12 Year Old Pictures

Now that Isabelle has been 12 for a month now, I finally got around to getting her pictures done! This post will be short and sweet and a big long one will be coming soon (hopefully)!

JULY

Hello everyone!!  Hope you all had a great July!! :) Ours included a 4th of July celebration, a brand new litter of 10 pigs, stocking up on hay for the winter months, a gun safety course we three older ones went through, a chicken butchering day, topped off with Ava Park fun with friends, a trip to Silver Dollar City, and creek fun!  Shall we begin? Our enthusiastic grill major for the 4th of July. I’m not sure about her, but the food was a 5+ rating! Can’t get more patriotic than this picture *wink* Whenever friends stop by for a visit and bring a cake,  there will be no complaints here!….Until everyone gets a sugar high. In honor of the 4th, I’ll share one of my favorite quotes: “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. Thank them both today.” Ended the night with a bang, like (I’m assuming) everyone else did! And the very next day,… 10 of ‘em born on the 5th....
