JUNE

 Welcome back!!

Hope ya’ll had an amazing June!! Ours included some friends’ Birthday celebration, a creek day with the Langs, a butcher day, farm happenings, and Father’s Day.

Stay tuned……..

Here we are at the Birthday celebration of a couple of friends!

Peyton and Kassidy
Expectation………
Vs. Reality…..
There’s always that one photo-bomber….
And to top off the night!….
Creek day with the Langs!
Sorry we hogged  y’all’s kayaks the whole time.

Following Peyton up stream
Mary
Anna hitching a ride down stream
Noah and Havi trying out fishing! They caught a couple of interesting creatures.
Classic Isaiah!

I personally wouldn’t mind a creek like this on my property!
Ever hear of “Swimmer’s Hair?”
You know you have bad balance when you can’t stay up while sitting down.

Jumping off the hill!
If you can guess who each of the people jumping off are you might know us really well!

Out of a total of 13 people only five made the plunge down *dramatic music* ;)
Norah, Havi, and the three others!
Look who stopped by market, coming all the way from Florida!!
Come back soon Kylie, and fam!!
To say I have weird siblings would be an understatement.
This is a collection of pictures built up from the last several months.
*Maybe this will discourage them from taking any more silly selfies*

Having friends for butchering day is always welcome,
especially when they bring their adorable baby!!
Everyone watching an episode of The Chosen before bed.
The assembly line of awesome workers!!
Huge shoutout to Dan, Mary and Noah, and the Ahmed fam!!
Thank you for all you’re help! Ya’ll are awesome!
Our first official time using the grill Dad got for Christmas!!
These pigs have graduated from the electric netting training and are free to be moved out into the woods!
Except for some reason they didn’t want to leave their spot, so here’s Norah acting like a pig trying to entice them into the new spot.🙈
Dad’s Father’s Day gift! Time to say goodbye to the old John Deere that broke down after nearly every cutting and had wayyyyyyyy too many hours on it.
Since we’re not mechanics by nature, we won’t be missing it at all!
Dad getting every angle of his new mower!
Everyone had to test it out!

A few days before we were scheduled to send her to the butcher,
Norah noticed that this pig looked a little big.
Turns out piglets are due in July….(stay tuned for adorable piglet pictures).
Missouri skies never cease to amaze me!

And that’s it!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! We hope y’all have a great July,
and we’re looking forward to “seeing” you again soon!!

Izzy's 12 Year Old Pictures

Now that Isabelle has been 12 for a month now, I finally got around to getting her pictures done! This post will be short and sweet and a big long one will be coming soon (hopefully)!

Memories From March

Hello all! We're back again! Man, what a busy month! Several birthdays, fun events, farm life, and everyday happenings! Shall we begin? This month literally started out with Norah turning 11! Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. Loading more pigs up  Isaiah still doesn't know what to think of the sheep Izzy and Mr. Grumpy Gills  Katherine started riding a two-wheeler bike, with a little help from the training wheels! She could totally be a model!  Chick season has come around the corner...again! This will always be a favorite!  They make for good pets...when they're little anyway!  When you don't have a tractor and you need to seed the fields...  ...and chop broom grass down When Mom's not putting the food in your mouth fast enough  Meet the new bull calf, Demitri! ...

January + February

Welcome back! First of all, I apologize for the delay in posting this. I wish I could blame it on busyness, but it was also kind of a little procrastination. BUT, I hope you all had a fabulous January + February! It's still crazy to think we're now in the year of 2022, (am I the only one who continually keeps writing 2021 and then has to replace it with 2022?!).  During January we had the privilege of getting to witness the marriage of Dalton + Kenzie,                        Mom and Katherine made a sudden trip to Colorado for some family business (we ended up going two in a half weeks without her, which, if you have seen the movie "Cheaper by the Dozen," you understand how the last few days without her went. We were overjoyed to have her back home by the end of the 2 1/2 weeks!!), winter shenanigans, and other life happenings!      I think I can speak for everyone when I say, that I think the highligh...
