Our First Thanksgiving in Missouri!

Posted by: Maddy

This year was the first year we all spent a holiday by ourselves. It was quite nice actually. We did miss celebrating with the rest of the Coulters back in Colorado, but it was nice to have a quiet holiday for a change. We got to spend time together talking about what thankfulness really means and how we can all work on being grateful. It's a good time to remember that God is the reason we have what we have and He is the one that placed us together with the family He did for a reason.

We had a 23 pound turkey! Ours weren't ready in time as you know,so we found someone else who raises them the same way we do to get one from.

Joe was so exhausted!

We found the guineas 'guarding' the entrance to the lane!

The day ended with this beautiful sunset!

Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. Loading more pigs up  Isaiah still doesn't know what to think of the sheep Izzy and Mr. Grumpy Gills  Katherine started riding a two-wheeler bike, with a little help from the training wheels! She could totally be a model!  Chick season has come around the corner...again! This will always be a favorite!  They make for good pets...when they're little anyway!  When you don't have a tractor and you need to seed the fields...  ...and chop broom grass down When Mom's not putting the food in your mouth fast enough  Meet the new bull calf, Demitri! ...
