A Crazy September!

Hi and welcome back!! 

We hope you all had a wonderful September! :) 
Ours was filled with so many wonderful friends and places! :) But overall, it went by way too fast!!
Enjoy!........
Nothing can beat going to the park with friends!
The younger ones were so happy to reunite with some friends that we haven't seen in a long time!
Burying friends is such fun!
Molly and Katherine are such great little kids! They smile ALMOST all the time,...
....until big brother takes little sister's crown!

Anna's Birthday celebration!!! She's only 17!!  She's growing up way too slow!!! *wink*

Anna has been testing out her new camera!! It takes amazing pictures!!

Ike and Flossy have become best buds!!!
These set of pigs are amazingly tame! And probably the easiest batch we've had! They have been getting out a lot recently, but it's super easy getting them back in!!

......and in a short amount of time, we had this!
This is a result of telling homeschoolers to get their school done!
At the park again acting like a bunch three year old's.

At Ava Park with  Fords and Steins!!  
Here we are trying to look like we know what we're doing!!


This month we finished our FINAL two chicken butcher events of the year!! 
We also set a new record of butchering 120 chickens, cutting up 60, cleaning up, AND taking a slight break in between in a total of 4 hours!!
Thank you to all who helped us!!!
Sadly, while playing a post-butcher day game, Joe fell and chipped his front two teeth!
Praise God that we have such a great dentist who fixed his teeth the very next day!
Although we're still learning how to pronounce some words with his new teeth!
We also learned that Joe is a better mouser than our cat!!!
Waiting in the car for Mom before Church is never a dull moment with this awesome guy!

    I can't. this is too much! I'll sum up what I mean...
    Your printer is out of ink.
    I have no idea why Mary is/was at the park with you all then. (WHERE WAS I?!?)
    Joe's teeth look great!
    And holy moly, I have NEVER seen such skill at catching mice. 2! like, why can I not. even. set. a. trap. (srsly!!)
    Anyway, thanks for the 10 minutes of interest on my part ;P usually easily distracted. Couldn't tell ya why. XD

Hello all! We're back again! Man, what a busy month! Several birthdays, fun events, farm life, and everyday happenings! Shall we begin? This month literally started out with Norah turning 11! Here's just a few of her birthday photos!  This year, Norah requested a doughnut cake! Two doughnuts a person! Let's just say we all felt horrible that night. JULY

Hello everyone!!  Hope you all had a great July!! :) Ours included a 4th of July celebration, a brand new litter of 10 pigs, stocking up on hay for the winter months, a gun safety course we three older ones went through, a chicken butchering day, topped off with Ava Park fun with friends, a trip to Silver Dollar City, and creek fun!  Shall we begin? Our enthusiastic grill major for the 4th of July. I’m not sure about her, but the food was a 5+ rating! Can’t get more patriotic than this picture *wink* Whenever friends stop by for a visit and bring a cake,  there will be no complaints here!….Until everyone gets a sugar high. In honor of the 4th, I’ll share one of my favorite quotes: “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. Thank them both today.” Ended the night with a bang, like (I’m assuming) everyone else did! And the very next day,… 10 of ‘em born on the 5th....
