We hope you had a blessed December!!
The highlight of our month was definitely being reunited as a whole family! Maddy flew home from New York and surprised us at midnight right before Christmas. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Well, shall we begin?
December started off with Anna getting her Wisdom teeth removed!!
This picture was taken before the surgery!
And this picture was taken after the surgery.
She pulled through very well and thankfully had a somewhat fast recovery!
Random picture of Havi, just because!
Honestly, sometimes I wonder about this one.
We fast forward to Anna’s piano recital!
The Discher ladies presented an amazing performance!!
Anna also did a great job!!
Another fun day at Skateland for their Homeschool Skate Day!
When you ask your sister to read a book to you
but you fall asleep before the story is finished....
Beautiful captures by Anna of winter
The size of the piglets Norah was holding a few blog posts back.....they grow up so fast! *sniff*
It's not every night a cow falls asleep on your couch.....
These sunsets never get old!!
When it comes to loading up cows in 20 degree weather,
Norah goes all out to make sure she stays warm
Me , Havi, and Joe
Taking a slight break from chasing the cow. This is when patience is tried!
When we did get her up to the trailer, she ended up attempting to jump the fence.
But it ended up all good and she went to the butcher the next morning, the end.
And along with Christmas comes making all those unnecessary treats!!
Norah doing what she loves!
Ashley's little helper!!
Well, Mary gave this to Norah as an early Christmas present.
That is a big bear!!
So, of course we needed a group picture with the new family member!
Thank you so much for the Izzie drinks, Sarah!
I'd say this picture describes our personalities pretty well!!
Mom got to meet Scrooge at Market. Due to COVID they decided Santa wasn't appropriate.
Ashley turned 20, on the 20th of December, in the year of 2020
Now that is neat!
And of course we had to go with the golden Birthday theme
Happy Birthday, Ashley!!
At the Ford's riding their homemade sled.
Not kidding, this is one of the most fun things ever!
"What is it," you may ask? Well, just a country kid's invention,
with a 4-wheeler, some rope and an old feed trough. Snowless Sledding.
Maddy showed up at midnight before Christmas Eve and surprised us all,
except for Ashley (she knew all along! )
This picture was taken after using Ashley's Birthday
balloons as targets! Also Maddy's first time shooting a gun!
Christmas morning!! This is where the chaos begins!
Ashley's gift to Maddy, an overgrown kiss. Disgusting in my opinion, but Maddy said it was delicious.
Norah was very envious of such a gift!
When you forget to collect eggs before dark and they all crack....
Maddy let us drag her around town to all the awesome places, including this new Coffee Shop in Seymour and Bass Pro Shops in Springfield!
These two are just awkward, end of story.
And then there's Anna.....Maddy still looks pretty awkward though.
And like every year, it's ginger bread house decorating time!!!
Some of the end products.......
From left to right: Norah's, Katherines, Peyton's, and Anna's
But no matter how hard we try none of us can ever match Mom's talent!!
She made it from scratch and decorated it all. She's amazing!! :)
Taking sibling pictures with these peeps can be most interesting...
Here are pictures of our failure to get a decent photo for your viewing pleasure!
Norah and I got the privilege of spending a couple days and nights with the Langs and join them for a Conference!! 'Twas so much fun, and thank you, friends, for having us!!
Expectation.....
Vs. Reality....
Thank you, Noah for capturing all these candid shots!
Norah, Mary, and I
Me and Sarah
Mary in a winter wonderland!
And more selfies just because! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And that's it!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you had a great December and Happy New Year!!
