Some of you may know this already, but for those of you who don't, Mom is pregnant with #10! Due date is March 27th. 7 more months to go!

I never realize all the things we do or what happens in one month until I am done with these blog posts. We always do more than I think we do ;)  Good place for pictures  Handsome little guy  Little Kate playing in the fountains  3 little kids  Selfies in front of one of the roller coaster. Only you can't see the beautiful view in the background :(  We take photos everywhere! Havi turned 6! Anna had more fun with Havi's gifts than Havi did  The little farmers Mom got reminded about why she never wanted any dogs in Arvada. Our dog, Churchill got hit by a car and needed surgery. Poor guy. He has recovered pretty well since then. So laid back when at home Anna crocheted this pillow set for David and Kelsey's up coming wedding. She did a great job!  David and Kelsey's wedding cake! Lately I have been reading some studies on Biblical virtues and specifically, and more in depth on the character trait of contentment. IBLP has a really great book out there for all 49 character qualities. It is always so fascinating to read and as I was reading the section about contentment I wanted to share some of what it said. (This is a brief summary)   Contentment vs. Covetousness Contentment is realizing that God has already provided everything I need for my present and future happiness. Personal Evaluation How content are you? 1. In what specific ways do you enjoy the presence of the Lord? 2. How much time do you spend enjoying your family? 3. Are you making practical use of the possessions that have been entrusted to you? 4. Have you set your affections on getting things that you think will make your life happier? 5. Do you grieve or become bitter when your possessions are damaged or stolen? 6. When damage comes to your life, possessions, or family...

Well, another month has come and gone and now its time to post some pictures of the last 31 days :)   For the 4th of July we went to the Cook's party. They had a.... well, its a lake really, not a pond that was fun to go canoeing on with Ashley and Autumn.  Ashley should start telling people when they are in a selfie with her.... it might just turn out better ;) Going for a walk  The view was beautiful after dinner  Chillin'  The amazing firework display! And the next morning... well lets just say that as far as hitting deer go, Mom and Dad are now tied. The kids.......  Later that week we processed 150 chickens. 130 of them we had to cut up.
