Some Thoughts on Contentment

Lately I have been reading some studies on Biblical virtues and specifically, and more in depth on the character trait of contentment. IBLP has a really great book out there for all 49 character qualities. It is always so fascinating to read and as I was reading the section about contentment I wanted to share some of what it said. (This is a brief summary)   Contentment vs. Covetousness Contentment is realizing that God has already provided everything I need for my present and future happiness. July Adventures

Well, another month has come and gone and now its time to post some pictures of the last 31 days :)   For the 4th of July we went to the Cook's party. They had a.... well, its a lake really, not a pond that was fun to go canoeing on with Ashley and Autumn.  Ashley should start telling people when they are in a selfie with her.... it might just turn out better ;) Going for a walk  The view was beautiful after dinner  Chillin'  The amazing firework display! And the next morning... well lets just say that as far as hitting deer go, Mom and Dad are now tied. The kids.......  Later that week we processed 150 chickens. 130 of them we had to cut up. These are the new labels for them :) Izzy's favorite rabbit was born this month! Ashley claimed it and named it Midnight. The growing pigs! The other ones went to the butcher....
