An Awesome April!

This past month we were sooooo blessed with all the wonderful things we got to do and people we got to see! Our Grandma Coulter came to visit us. We had a ton of fun with her, and the time went way too fast! She ventured with us through Silver Dollar City, Bakersville, Wonders Of Wildlife Museum, and lots more! She sure was a trooper!  The best part of her visit was just spending time with her, and we're already looking forward to her next visit.
And Grandma has arrived!!! Katherine and Isaiah were so happy to see their Grandma again they were with her almost ALL the time! =)
Love this picture! <3
We all love listening to Grandma tell stories of when she was younger! :)
And our second batch of broilers are in the brooders!
Here we are at Silver Dollar City waiting to watch a pogo show!
 Still waiting..........
For some reason there is something so entertaining about watching people do things that could easily put them in the hospital.

Yup, it was pretty neat!! =)
And we are off to watch CirqUnique!

The wheel of danger
If you think this doesn't look that hard, you should try it sometime!!
Another awesome show!!
Last stop: Watching a painter paint pictures upside down to music. When he finished, he spun it it upright so we could tell what it was! Awesome!

Yet another awesome show!!! Thank you, Silver Dollar City! We made lots of good memories! :)
On the way home we took a picture of this.......interesting sign.
Joe got inspired by the pogo-ers, so when we got home, this is all he did.
After Easter Sunday, we got to bring these beautiful flowers home, and Katherine wanted to model them! :) You have to admit, she is pretty cute!
And we are back at WOW!!!
It was a lot of fun to show Grandma everything!

Katherine loved the fish so much!!!
Sometimes the smallest things in this world can be some of the most awesome and beautiful  ones!

This sea-horse looks pregnant! =)
Who would have known that on the inside there's a room?!
It was simply awesome! Thank you, Grandma, for your patience with seeing everything everyone wanted to show you all at once!
Next we went to Bakersville.  Katherine was the only one that wanted her picture taken at the moment.  Aren't the flowers pretty?! =)

After all the sight seeing it was nice to just have quality time and conversations with Grandma!

We got one last picture with Grandma before she had to leave, we'll miss you so much Grandma!
Right after Grandma left Anna got the opportunity to go up to St. Louis with the Niednagel ladies for a baby shower, and while they were there, they went to some pretty amazing places! So since I didn't go, Anna is going to explain what, when, and where! =)
Touring the St. Louis Art Museum

 The building was so beautiful!
 I've been caught;)
Melissa's parents were so sweet to host us in the midst of getting ready to move. These are the neighbor's friendly horses. The kids enjoyed feeding them.

Out to breakfast at the Rooster (they have awesome crepes);)
 At the Botanical Gardens!

Everything was blooming or in full bloom. It was gorgeous!

The gardens have a way of making you shrink. Also, we liked getting a lot of photos!

We don't know what the sign says....hope that it's nothing bad;)
A Chinese festival was going on while we were there.

Anna got home on a Sunday night and we left bright and early Monday morning! :)
And we are off to Big Sandy, Texas for one week at a family conference! Unfortunately, Dad couldn't join us. But we were so blessed with the opportunity to caravan down with the Ford family!
Well, we made it and we are all set up! It's been five years since being here. It's good to be back! =)
One of the awesome things about this camp is you get to walk everywhere! =)
The opening night

Norah, Isaiah, and a boy whose name was forgotten!
The night that we listened to Otto Koning (The Pineapple Story), we got to have him and his wife sign our Bibles!
This picture isn't the best, but we got one with them and that's what counts!
Dawson and Mrs. Koning got to know each other really well! =)
We also got S.M. Davis to sign our Bibles. I think he was pretty happy to oblige!
And before we knew it or had enough time to take pictures of the activities, it was already the closing night. This past week really helped most of us to dig deeper into God's Word and to be encouraged by other believers! It was an awesome retreat we got to experience together! :) Each class got to get up on stage and recite Bible verses and sing a song they learned that week! This is the boys' Alert Cadet group. A couple of the Fords are in there somewhere! =)
 The Pre-excel class
  Younger Children
And the choir! Anna, Ashley, and I got to be a part of it this year!
An after picture with some of our AWESOME friends from CO!!! We can't wait 'till next time! (I made the mistake of changing right after getting off  stage).
We got to meet a lot of new people and were reunited with the ones we have met at past Conferences!
That night it rained like CRAZY! This is a pretty bad picture but it shows one of the not so deep parts on the actual road. The next morning it was pretty much all gone. :)
And we're headed back through beautiful Arkansas! Some days, nothing beats a really good drive! :)
And that's it for April!  Hope you have a good May!!!

Now that Isabelle has been 12 for a month now, I finally got around to getting her pictures done! This post will be short and sweet and a big long one will be coming soon (hopefully)!

August In A Nutshell

Hello folks!  We hope you all had a great August!  This month Mom, Dad, and Isaiah drove to CO to drop Peyton and Norah off, so they could visit with our Grandmas for two weeks. They were supposed to go to Germany and Austria with Grandma Mary in June, but, due to covid19, they weren’t able to go.  But they still needed some Grandma time! We also butchered around 300 chickens this month. We’ve never butchered that many at the same time before, so we broke them up into two different butcher days. (Since we had to cut up 200 of them).  And took steers to the butcher!!!  August was also ‘drought  month’ for MO. The fields turned crispy brown,  which hasn’t been helpful for our grazing cattle.   Thankfully, we’ve gotten some good rains right at the end of the month,  and things have once again greened up! Priscilla (my cow) FINALLY had her calf!! We’ve been waiting so long for her to arrive! (YES!!! She had a heifer!!!!!!) So, the process of milking has finally begun! And we’re already get

April

Welcome Back!! Hope you all had a great April! For us, it was quite crazy! But I guess we should be used to that by now. Overview of April: Springfield Symphony with my cello teacher, her husband, and a few other friends, a Bakers creek Festival, hiking at Ha-Ha Tonka with some of the Ford's, Easter, and a Family Conference in Big Sandy, Texas with the Ford family! Springfield Symphony in Downtown Springfield! Such a beautiful building!! The Symphony!  We also had the pleasure of getting to watch one of the world's best cellists, Bryan Cheng! When you randomly discover that the blue lights in your room make yellow highlighters glow! .....and your siblings ask you to write all over them, and not only do you listen to them but you also think it's a great idea🙈 It's a yellow nose and arms for the win!! Somebody's got a bun in the oven! ;) It's Anna in the background for me! 😂 Got a chance to get some quality time in with this beautiful girl! I love our walks and
